Executive Director

We are looking for a visionary and mission-driven Executive Director to lead a respected and values-based educational foundation. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to shape impactful educational programs and drive systemic change.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will guide the foundation’s strategy, lead its operations, represent the organization locally and internationally, and cultivate strong relationships across sectors. The ideal candidate is a purpose-driven, inspiring leader with a deep commitment to education, a collaborative mindset, and strong strategic and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities​

• Lead the foundation with integrity, aligning all activities with its mission and values

• Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Trustees

• Represent the foundation at national and international levels

• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders

• Oversee fundraising efforts and ensure financial sustainability

• Promote innovation and excellence across educational programs

• Ensure effective organizational management and team development

• Maintain compliance, transparency, and accountability in all operations

Ideal Candidate Profile​

• Higher education; advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) preferred

• At least 5 years of leadership experience; board collaboration is a plus

• Fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and fundraising skills

• Deep understanding of local education challenges and global trends

• Strategic thinker with operational and financial acumen

• Experience in education and/or nonprofit sector is a strong asset

• Values-driven, ambitious, self-aware, and committed to growth
